Based in Istanbul, Turkey, Sevil Becan has an extensive background working with global food and meat retail and food service chains, on the purchasing, operations side of the industry. Her career includes several years with Tesco’s in Turkey where she was responsible for fresh and frozen food operations and McDonalds where she supervised all purchasing for McDonalds in Turkey.

Sevil holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and has completed many management training schemes with her previous employers (Tesco’s, Metro and McDonalds). Sevil is fluent in German and English. Her native language is Turkish.
